Santiago de Surco District in Lima, where the first stone was placed. The first
admission was on August 4, 1994 and September 15, the first university course

UPC
contributions to the community include a business plan competition for the
disabled and the Creatividad Empresarial contest. UPC is ISO 26.000-certified
and operates the YouthActionNet® Premio Protagonistas del Cambio UPC (Champions
of Change) program for social entrepreneurs in partnership with the
International Youth Foundation and the Sylvan/Laureate Foundation.
