Founded in 1871, Ecole
de Management Normandie (EM Normandie) is one of the oldest business schools in
France. It is accredited by both AACSB and EPAS. EM Normandie has five
campuses, including two main campuses in the Caen and the Le Havre as well as a
new campus in Oxford.
Each of the five
campuses offers foreign language courses, with a total of nine different
languages, offered. Six-degree programs are taught entirely in English.
EM Normandie has 64
faculty members, 30% of which are international. The school has 220
international partner universities in over 50 countries offering study abroad
and research opportunities, as well as dual degrees. These partner universities
bring 500 international students to EM Normandie every year.When it comes to
corporate partnerships, over 5,000 companies are associated with the school.
Students participate in over 500 different junior consulting projects.
EM Normandie’s core mission is
to educate future executives, who can address change and project management
challenges, display genuine managerial capabilities while being fully aware of
cross-cultural issues and corporate social responsibilities. Thanks to
institutional faculty research support schemes, Ecole de Management de
Normandie promotes faculty intellectual contributions, both academic or
applied, to guarantee high added value in the learning process. Furthermore, to
enhance its regional legitimacy and play a significant role in the
attractiveness of its home areas, Ecole de Management de Normandie wishes to be
instrumental in the regional development and competitiveness of Normandy the
‘Arc Manche’ area.
International:
EM Normandie has more
than 200 partner universities around the world, in more than 50 different
countries, in which a student can be allowed to spend one or two semesters as
an exchange student.[9] 9 Foreign Languages are taught in the 5 campus.
Approximately 500 international students are hosted every year. More than 30%
of the full-time faculty are foreign. 6 programmes are taught in English ( 1Bachelor
and 5 Mscs).

The EM Normandie has 5
campuses but the two main campuses are based in Caen and Le Havre.
Le Havre:
Le Havre is a major
French city located some 50 kilometres (31 miles) west of Rouen on the shore of
the English Channel and at the mouth of the Seine. Its port is the second
largest in France, after that of Marseille, for total traffic, and the largest
French container port. Le Havre's campus is the historic campus of l'EM
Normandie. In the center of the city, the campus is located only 200 meters far
from the Marina.
Caen:
Caen is a commune in
northwestern France. It is the prefecture of the Calvados department and the
capital of the Basse-Normandie region.
Caen's campus in the
second man campus of l'EM Normandie with 7000 square meters. It holds 5
amphitheaters, 5 computer rooms, 2 language laboratories, 1 media library, and
many classrooms. Recently EM Normandie has started to build an extension of
2000 square meters [13] to respond to its increasing activity in the Post-Bac
selectioN.
